SHORT BIO

 

      Ort Gordon is a self taught musician on many different instruments, including drums, guitar, piano, saxophone and bass.

He originally started out as a drummer where he gained experience with playing live, writing music and being part of the creative process that drives musicians. Since then, he has continued to grow musically by learning new instruments, and writing new songs, while always maintaining the authentic sound and feel that defines his style. He always strives to make sure that the vision he has for his songs in his mind's eye can be seen through to the final product.

     To that end, he wrote, recorded and mixed all the music that you hear on his debut album, The Sum Of The Whole, and also designed the album artwork himself.  Ort Gordon's music displays a dynamic range that allows him to move seemlessly from heavier, grittier songs, to a softer melodic song from the heart.

     Ort Gordon is unique because he is one of very few artists who are willing and capable of taking on the many different roles required to see a piece of music through to the very end.
